Pudu located at the boundary of South East of Kuala Lumpur, the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the backbone for the city development, a place that cannot be neglected. During the British Colonials period, this place has started with bricks making , food and goods, therefore there are multiple culture gathered around Pudu. Back to the olden days, the cinemas had become one of the good example where multiple races of people could gather together in watching movies.

It is true to say that Pudu was the beginning of the economic in Kuala Lumpur because there are a lot of traditional businesses in Pudu are still in business. For example, the printing industrial, electronic street, old market and traditional food. All these industrials and places contains rich cultural value.

Besides, there are a lot buildings aged above 150 years in Pudu, which has become many archeology and architecture references. Time passed, as the city was developing all historical buildings has been replaced by the commercial buildings. Unfortunately, the changing has killed what is truly contained and value on this ground.

The building of First Assembly of God Church in Kuala Lumpur aged 80 years old in Pudu. It is the witness of every history in Pudu like people who grew up, we hope to express our gratitude and love for this place with our actions.

Through the church ministry ACT OF LOVE, a non-profit organization, we started WE LOVE PUDU project. In the past, community events like, Gotong Royong at Pudu, Feed the Poor and Blood Donation was organized in giving back to the community. This time we would want to introduce Pudu to larger crowd with more creative ideas through the social media and mobile Apps. With social media technology, we could walk in and learn more about the local history, traditional foods and attractions. Rediscover the wonderful old community among us!

From now on, we would collaborate with different units through arts, workshops, and exhibition to create a lively environment for people to know Pudu.
